Job Description: This includes ensuring legal compliance with all state, local and Federal employment-related laws and regulations managing policies and procedures related to employment practices overseeing the strategic and tactical recruitment initiatives for national staff positions and indirect oversight of these processes firm wide. The HR Manager will be engaged in and have significant responsibility for directing firm management in employee relations activities consistent with firm practices. This role also provides direction to management engaged in developing and implementing employee training and oversees the effectiveness of staff performance evaluation processes and tools. This position supervises the Training & Evaluation Manager and Sr. Human Resources Specialist. Job Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications include: Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years HR generalist experience including previous supervisory experience. Thorough understanding of Federal, state and local employment laws. Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices such as recruitment/staffing, employee relations, progressive disciplinary processes, non-technical training, performance management, Affirmative Action, etc. Results-oriented, customer service driven and ability to work well as part of a team.
