Manages the recruiting process for the Long Island City office including managing a requisition process that ensures each new job is accompanied by a corresponding job description and compensation range; and that all new positions fall within established budgetary guidelines with approvals from the appropriate Vice President. Accountable for ensuring that all job openings are effectively communicated to both internal and external potential candidates through the use of the external job boards, website, employee intranet, and paper job listings (posted throughout various facilities). Tracks and charges each department for incurred employment related advertising fees. Screening and selecting most qualified candidates by matching job requirements to applicant skills and qualifications. Distributes resumes to hiring managers, sets up and conducts screening interviews and functions as liaison between candidates and department hiring manager. Directs the on boarding processes by creating and sending out acceptance letters, facilitating the orientation process, and directing both the background check and telephone reference check process.
