Job Description:
Oversees FHS talent and succession planning initiatives to include goal alignment and understanding strategic business priorities and requirements to strengthen management, leadership and align talent with opportunities. Provides succession and talent identification education to management and staff to include competency development and coaching utilizing the web-based tool to introduce and reinforce the behaviors necessary to create a high performing organizational culture consistent with core values. Provides consultation services in the development, coordination and evaluation of education activities to support the achievement of talent and performance management, organizational developmental goals and learning activities for identified employees at all levels of the organization; keeps abreast of the learning priorities and needs of the organization. Oversees the development and delivery of both regional and site-specific education programs related to succession planning and talent identification. Partners with management to align, integrate and deliver programs and services that will increase leadership capacity to meet immediate talent needs and to strengthen longer term strategic capabilities. Influence and develop diversity strategies and actions that nurture and grow diverse management and leadership talent. Creates and manages strategic talent inventory, assessment and continuity plans. Serve as advocate for strategic talent to ensure human resource programs support the development of high levels of achievement. Coordinates the identification of potential succession incumbents. Recommends potential talent resources in accordance with goals. Develops monitoring tools and benchmarks to measure and report the progress and effectiveness of the talent delivery process. Tracks and monitors the outcomes of acceleration pool members and training programs. Monitors turnover analysis for trends. Keeps abreast of applicable statutory limitations, rules, regulations, best practices and current/future trends impacting the fields of talent, succession planning, performance management and organization development.
