Mid level- 5 years experience
Senior level- 9 yrs experience

Junior position for Java application develop (coding), maintenance, or extension of one of several Java applications. Many of these applications are or shall be developed under the JBOSS J2EE environment, using the Eclipse IDE with Struts, Tiles, Spring, Hibernate, LDAP, Apache Slide (WebDAV) and others involve development associated with a GOTS tool and the Oracle J2EE environment.
Responsibilities:
 Defines and executes software engineering activities within a project.
 Activities may consist of applications development, performance management, capacity planning, testing and validation, benchmarking, information engineering, and development.
 Responsibilities include participation in the technical review/evaluation of various applications development, generation of formal presentations, and maintenance of thorough and accurate documentation.
Necessary Requirements:
 Hands on SW development experience
 Ability to perform any/all task within the software lifecycle (design, development, unit/class testing, maintenance, documentation).
 Ability to function as part of a development team to include the use of a version control system.
Desired Requirements:
 Experience using Struts Programming with Tiles
 Experience with JavaScript
 Web Service development experience
 JBOSS development experience
 Eclipse experience
 Experience using CVS as a member of a development team
 Basic UNIX/Solaris and Windows system administration skills (e.g., loading software, creating accounts)
 Exposure to UML design constructs (Use Cases and Class diagrams)
 Understanding of SQL with JDCB programming
 Experience with WebDAV
 Image processing and JPEG formats
 LDAP Experience
