CVICU Hospital based position
8 bed CVICU

Days, no call, no weekends
• The APRN will apply advanced knowledge and skills for the provision of care to patients/families with multiple complex problems in the Cardiovascular Unit.
• APRN will also facilitate the clinical management of assigned patients through collaboration with the cardiologists, cardiothracic surgeons, intensives, nurses and other appropriate members of the health care team.
• Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing, with MSN and National Certification in Advanced Practice.
• Minimum 5 years critical care experience with demonstrated nursing competency at an advanced practice level.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in CT, current APRN licensure and ACLS certification also required.
