Job Description: CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE
A customer service oriented call center focused on providing quality care and high performance to our clients and their customers. Starting in 1990, this company has grown to a well revered multi-company call center.
Currently, they are looking for sales oriented employees to improve our current sales team and develop our outbound sales operation.
The ideal candidate has customer service experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment - handling commercial and consumer orders, and customer service inquiries. Excellent telephone communication skills, PC literacy and the ability to up-sell and cross-sell products and handle diversified tasks are essential for success in these positions. Although no sales experience is required, it is preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalency is also preferred.

- Able to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- A limited degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Must be able to type 25 wpm with 95% accuracy
Responsibilities - Consults with customers to recommend and sell a variety of products to meet their needs
- Provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain a current understanding of the procedures to respond to numerous phone inquiries
- Stay current on new sales accounts and training materials
- Able to cross-train on inbound sales and outbound calls (no telemarketing)
Incentives: - Hourly rate ($8.75/hr to start, $9 in 30 days) plus sales commission. Doing well, pays well.
