Responsibilities Leading compliance and sales and use tax audits Manage and negotiate audit settlements Measure tax exposure on due diligence teams for acquisitions Assure compliance with state, local, federal and multi state laws and regulations Manage the preparation of corporate tax returns for various jurisdictions and entities Conducts research and planning according to applicable laws and regulations Responds to notices from tax authorities Manages and develops staff. Requirements : Minimum of 15 years experience BA/BS degree in Accounting required, MS preferred Expertise in developing tax-efficient strategies and advising on complex tax-related issues In depth working knowledge of Federal consolidated corporate income, state/local corporate income/franchise/net worth and sales/use tax laws Experience measuring exposure on due diligence teams for acquisitions.
