Job Description:
Responsibilities : Develop area-specific plans and goals that help enhance business-wide objectivesOversee the production and tracking of cost and utilization statistics for Humana's member population, and data mining and modeling of new intervention and outreach opportunitiesEnsure compliance with Actuarial Standards of Practice, Standard Valuation Law, and NAIC developmentsCreate and support cooperative working relationships, both within the company-at-large and with outside business partnersDirect the preparation of financial reserves and corresponding valuation issues. Requirements : A Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Applied Mathematics or a related fieldActuarial experience in the group health solutions industry or a similar actuarial work environmentSignificant progress towards the attainment of Fellowship with the Society of Actuaries, Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries, and Associate or Fellow status with the Society of Actuaries Role Desirables Completion of at least 6 or more CAS/SOA examinations Reporting Relationships You will have 1-5 direct reports, and you will report to a Vice President.
