Job Description:
Responsibilities : Manages the Actuarial Analysis Department within the Actuarial Division, Provides oversight and administration of ratemaking, reserving, and research functions, Formulates and implements internal policy with statewide effects throughout Ohio workers' compensation system, Ensures that rates and reserves are consistent with actuarial principles and standards of practice, and Supports the CAO in oversight and administration of BWC's actuarial resources in order to ensure alignment with the BWC's vision, mission and goals. Requirements : Completion of undergraduate core program in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field. 7 years' experience in the actuarial field. 24 months' experience in operation of personal computer. Current designation as Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society (i.e. ACAS) or as Associate in Society of Actuaries (i.e. ASA).
