Job Description:
Candidate must have hands-on experience developing radar or sensor based detection algorithms using stochastic processes and numerical methods and techniques. Strong analytic skills are required and modeling and simulation experience in MATLAB is a must.
Candidate should have relevant experience with one or more of the following systems:
• Ground Penetrating Radar, (GPR)
• Sense Through the Wall (STTW) Radar
• High Range Resolution Doppler Radar
• Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
• Fire Control Radar, and RF Tomography
• Experience with moving target tracking algorithms;
• Familiar with Kalman filter techniques a plus.
Qualifications:
• MS in Math, Physics, or Engineering – PhD (is a plus)
• 10-15 years algorithm development experience with radar or EO systems
• Must be fluent with MATLAB and/or MathCad modeling tools and techniques
• Radar signal processing and data analysis skills
• Numerical methods, stochastic detection, radar image processing
• Application experience with embedded systems and DSP development is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and a DOD secret clearance (or the reasonable ability to obtain one) is required.
The candidate must be a self-starter who can work effectively in a small company environment and function with minimum supervision. Candidates must have a proven track record and be able to lead innovative IRAD and proposal efforts to support new business development. Salary will commensurate with experience.
