Job Description:
Aircraft CABINET BUILDERS: NOW HIRING NATIONWIDE!
Summary:
Works under general supervision to fabricate furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using blueprints, aircraft specifications and design/engineering drawings.
Assemble, pin and glue cabinet shells. Install drawer-slides, hinges, latches and other hardware in subassemblies. Apply exterior surface materials such as laminates, veneers, and cap strips.
Use various types of stationary and hand-held power tools to fabricate or disassemble furniture. Complies with all safety and housekeeping policies.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Ability to work independently. Understanding and fulfilling the needs of the client; Detail oriented with a dedication to the quality control and quality assurance process; ability to understand and read complex design and blueprints and specifications; Excellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to communicate technical issues to the Manager. Team player willing to work with clients and staff.
Job Requirements:
Experience in cabinetmaking. Experience in aerospace industry Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products and tools
