Responsibilities : Supervise personnel and operation. Maintain knowledge of all processes, materials and equipment used. Report process material and manpower problems that can not be promptly resolved to appropriate individuals. Train, evaluate and provide feed back to employees on their work. Encourage employee involvement and recognize employee suggestions and ideas to improve quality, efficiency and safety. Organize work to meet customer requirements and encourage smooth flow of work. Review and approve time sheets. Provide documentation as required by the personnel, payroll and management departments. Enforce factory rules and when called for recommend or take appropriate disciplinary action. Work to resolve grievances with union employees, representatives, management and HR as required in labor relations matters. Keep written records of grievance investigations and meetings. Monitor the availability of and orders materials, supplies and parts to complete job orders in an efficient and timely manner. Requirements : A BA/BS degree with 0-2 yrs. exp or AA/AS degree with 1-3 years experience preferred. A&P license preferred. Requires 3-5 years experience in aviation or manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory and aircraft assembly and/or aviation experience required. Strong leadership and time management skills in a high (`3 volume work environment preferred.
