Objective: I am a hard working administrator with direct experience in the offshore oil and gas industry and a fully qualified commercial diver and NDT Lloyd’s inspector. Having been recruited into administration / liaison work for the offshore oil and gas industry, I am computer literate with experience in the Windows Office environment. I am fluent and well spoken in English, Spanish and French, allowing me to add translating and interpreting to the services I am able to provide. I interface well with all level of employee, from client representative and project manager to roustabout.

Olivier Berdoyes
Experience: CON-DIVE, LLC, Houston, TX, USA July 2007-June 2008 Administrator / Interpreter on board the DSV Bold Endurance (Sat. and surface diving support vessel), working for PEMEX, Mexican oil field / Bay of Campeche, Campeche, Mexico.
Assistance to Offshore Project Manager (OPM): Worked as an interpreter / translator / liaison between OPM and PEMEX client executives. Relayed instructions to workers (divers and deck staff), followed up on work progress and reports to OPM. Coordinated with marine crew for vessel’s movements.
Administration duties: Maintained daily event log and comprehensive progress summary report, down-time daily tracking and summary. Issued material requisitions, follow-up, reception and tracking. Followed up on maintenance (crane, compressors, etc…), diving mixes and industrial gases daily tracking / inventory, material inventories (mechanic, diving, rental and rigging material). Responsible for on board personnel daily tracking and reporting, crew changes organization and implementation, daily payroll report, vessel accommodations. Coordination with crew boats and supply vessels, daily vessel fuel tracking (fuel, lube, H2O) report.

Worked on risers / legs inspection (clamps, anodes), riser clamps replacement and installation (from the splash zone down to 78 m. /256 ft, with mixed gas below 50 m. /164 ft).
TRAQ, Cahors, France June 2006-Sept 2006 Commercial diver
Working as a contractor, I participated in the diving activities of the company, mainly in hydroelectric power stations (small and large) and dams. Worked on wicket gates and turbine blades (inspection and maintenance), underwater inspection of intakes (cleaning, repair, replacement) and penstocks.
HYDROKARST, St Etienne, France March 2005-April 2005 Commercial Diver (On a leave of absence from TTS) Confined area work: In a sewer station, 800 meter long underground gallery, 1.7m of diameter. Job was to create reinforcement by covering evacuated liquid flow with rocks, thus enabling the flow to continue in case of gallery masonry collapsing.
TTS, Villefranche de Rouergue, France June 2003-May 2005 Commercial Diver
Responsible for various interventions requiring the use of different skills and tools such as pneumatic drill, jackhammer and ratchet, hydraulic grinder and chain saw, cutting torch (Broco), welding and hand jet. Participated in ROV assistance, drilling assisting dives, bridge diving, pier diving, sheet pile diving, pile diving, dam diving, sewage and contaminated water diving, water treatment facility, diving in hydroelectric power stations, potable water facilities, underwater repairs (loss of concrete, welding) and underwater inspection / videography. Implemented dive schedules so as to maximize the efficiency of both dive and profitability aspects, with the first concern being toward diver's safety. Worked on levees (repair) and river/canal locks (paddle repair and maintenance), inspection of upper and lower gates, chamber’s masonry and concrete. Other job included working on fish ladders (repairs for loss of concrete, parts replacement). Also did rope access works: rock fall prevention, cleaning (civil engineering works), penstocks.
Other experience: May 1997-Nov 2002 From May 1997 through November 2002, I worked as a recreational diving instructor for various dive centers throughout the world, (Mexico, Dominican Republic, F.W.I., B.W.I., Cyprus, France...). In most instances, I was given the responsibility for equipment maintenance and repairs, as well as daily accounting, revenue tracking and close-out reports.
In my last recreational dive position, I was promoted to the dive center manager position of one of the company’s busiest operations (Dressel Divers). I was in charge of a team of over 20 employees, as well as of the development and implementation of new programs such as new diving excursions and promotion techniques.

Skills: Initiative, planning ahead, self-discipline and a healthy curiosity are qualities I have had to exercise in order to get the most out a large variety of work experiences as well as of my various trainings.
