Objective:
I would like a good, stable, full time job. I am working my way through college, i am attending Ga State this spring (09), and this fall (08) i am looking to work to save up money to help pay for college, also i am looking for a job i could continue while attending college.
Experience:
My most recent job was with Vector Marketing, a subsidiary of CUTCO, i was a sales rep there, my duties included making phone calls to set up in-home appointments, presenting a persuasive one on one presentation of the CUTCO product, obviously then selling the product, attaining customer recomendations, and then submitting the neccessary paper work to the office. I worked there from mid January 08 until May 08, i sold just under 10,000 in merchandise and was just short of my 5th promotion.
My employment previous to Vector was a general mix of Waiting, hosting, cooking, and dish washer/ prep worker at multiple resturaunts in peachtree city. Most recently i worked for Jasmine Tea Room (a small independant family business) from July 07 to Jan 08, and i was a cook and waiter there.
Previous to Jasmine i was employed at Hi-fi Buys Amphitheatre in Atlanta. There i was a VIP waiter, and a warehouse worker. I worked the 2007 season from July 07 to Oct 07.
Prior to Hifi i was employed at Ted's Montana Grill from Aug 06 until April 07. There i was a host, waiter, cook, expediter (prepared the plates just before they are sent to customers), and prep worker/ dish washer.
Education:
I have my High School Diploma, and i am attending Ga State in the Spring of 09, majoring in a pre-law element with intentions of attending Law School and becoming a Lawyer.
I attended Mcintosh High School in Peachtree City for my Freshman and Sophmore years, and then i went to The Campus, an independant study program, for my Junior and Senior years.
Skills:
My general Skill list is listed with my jobs but over and above that, i attended John's Hopkins Center For Talented Youth, a program where students take the SATs in 7th grade with the graduating class of their Hisgh School. Then if they tested well enough they are invited to go to a college of their choosing during the summer between their 8th and 9th grade years, and take a college course. I took a Computer Programming Course at The University Of Rhode Island.
Additional Information:
I was a Marshall at the TPC Sugarloaf Golf Tournament 08 for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This was a Volunteer even and i worked Friday through Sunday, a total of approx. 28 hours over the 3 days.
