This job has entailed the supervision and coordinating of 15 to 20 mildly, developmentally, delayed adults, in finding or creating employment; including training, evaluating, assessing, and implementing routine weekly contacts. Job searching, coaching, and contacts involve driving to and from several different towns in the Northwest section of Tennessee. More detailed duties include:
• Implementing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, 60 and 90 day stabilization reports, assessments and evaluations, job descriptions for new jobs, and various other types of paperwork is involved on each client under my supervision.
• Implementing Job Assessment Trials with clients in order to better assess and improve job skills and social skills, involving likes, dislikes, capabilities, job environment; possible accommodations, modifications, compatibility, and acceptance of hopeful employers.
• Assisting in initial, emergency, and annual ISP meetings to better accommodate clients' needs, employment goals, and holistic care.
• Implementing Job Evaluation Assessments on potential employment clients; evaluating potential skills, task abilities, social skills, client's preferences, and dislikes.
• Creating and implementing behavior intervention plans and goals, for particular employed clients when necessary, to enhance and improve their work potential.

Assistant Teacher/Interpreter in a mainstreamed/inclusion school Pate Elementary School, 100 Indian Branch Road- Darlington, SC
This involved fifteen years of teaching and assisting deaf/hearing impaired students (pre-school-3rd grade), who also had other disabilities such as autism, ADD, ADHD, blind, autistic-blind, MR, LD, downs syndrome and other specific syndromes, CP, OCD, developmentally delayed, normal, twice, and even thrice exceptional. Duties included:
• The coordination and implementation of lesson plans, teaching academics, social and hygiene skills; teaching whole body language, using; ESL/ASL sign language and oral communication.
• Creating visual aides, role-playing, drama, and other creative arts.
• Interpreting and supervising students in special events, mainstream classes, field trips, and social events.
August 1991- June 1992 Darlington County School System, St. Johns Avenue, Darlington, SC.
Substitute teacher for all grades; pre-school through high school.
Duties included:
• Implementing lesson plans, teaching academics, and sometimes interpreting.
• Most substitute jobs were for hearing impaired classrooms and mainstreamed individuals, due to experience with deaf/hearing impaired, special disabilities, and knowledge of sign language.
Other General Experience: Throughout my lifetime; jobs, ministries, and personal situations have developed experience with all types of children to adults including: Hispanics, troubled and normal teens, emotionally and mentally disabled individuals of all ages, normal and multi-handicapped deaf/hearing/impaired (pre-school to senior adults), all levels of mentally retarded children to adults (profound, SMR, EMR, multi-handicapped, and mild), gifted, normal, substance abusers and children of these, schizophrenic, manic depressant, different types of seizure activity, and various other personality disorders.
