Objective:
I am a medical transcriptionist who would like to work from home part time. I also have been a Registered Nurse with 28 years of hospital experience mainly in OB/GYN, but also have experience in Surgery. The last couple of years that I worked, I had experience in Home Care as a Case Manager and Scheduler for Nurses and Nurse Aides. I feel that my experiences as a nurse give me an edge over other transcriptionists because I used many different hospital forms giving me the opportunity to learn more terminology. I chose to leave the nursing profession and wanted a career change, but yet, I wanted to have some contact with the health profession.
