Objective:
To obtain a position that is incorporated in the sports realm and involves daily communication with co-workers and consumers. The ability for lateral movement is also a must as creating a firm position within a company and creating a lasting relationship is important.
Experience:
Prior employment with Global Spectrum, an arena management company in several areas including Amherst, MA, Norfolk, VA and Aiken, SC. Beginning as a changeover manager became an effective supervisor in scheduling and managing a staff of over 20. Able to move up to Event Manager and soon Event and Operations Manager. At this final position took charge of all operational aspects of 4,000 seat sports center on a college campus. Also dealt with contract negotiations and finalizations. Currently working as a marketing lead for POWERade in Newton, MA. Create my own schedule and contact events to be a part of and create brand awareness of POWERade in the Boston area and surrounding towns.
Education:
B.A. in Sport Management from University of Massachusetts Amherst with a minor in Psychology.
